NGO Committee on the Status of Women, Geneva

The NGO Committee on The Status of Women Geneva (NGO CSW Geneva) welcomes new members and any form of support or participation!

Membership

The Committee’s members are Non Governmental Organizations (NGOs) in consultative status with the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) of the United Nations and members of the Conference of NGOs (CONGO) at the United Nations. Members aspire to the same goals of advancing the the empowerment, rights and security of women and girls worldwide.

New Members are requested to download the NGO CSW Geneva registration form (see below)  fill it out and send it to:

Membership fee is 100 Sfr. for the calendar year, and payment should be made by bank transfer (see below payment information), or cash directly to the Treasurer.

Membership Benefits

The NGO CSW Geneva brings NGO representatives together to issue joint statements, facilitate NGO participation at various UN meetings and to coordinate work on substantive issues.

Members receive notices of regular meetings, and updates on activities of NGO CSW Geneva, CONGO and the UN, as well as invitations to special events, reception and meetings.

Voting members are those individuals who represent organizations in consultative status with the UN through ECOSOC, who are members of CoNGO, and who have paid their membership fees. There is one vote per organization.
